Birth of a TeboPin Elite case in Lausanne
The transformation of this cramped storage room into a comfortable office was orchestrated as a trio by the artist and project owner Karim Noureldin, the architect Raphaël Nussbaumer and the cabinetmaker Ddsigner Jules Desarzens, founder of the Wood Concept Agency in Lausanne.

The entire space has been covered with TeboPin Elite plywood panels, transforming this confined space into a beautiful wooden case. Measuring barely 20m ², it is however composed of two parts, the entrance and the living room bathed in light from a large horizontal strip window.

Thus, the panels have been selected with the greatest care and combined together to link the wood peeling patterns in a willingness to work without marked joints for a better binding of the volumes. The faces have also been washed in order to preserve only the original characteristics of the Maritime Pine species, and then soaped to ensure surface protection.
The result is a “cocoon” effect that gives the place its identity as a wooden case.
