LVL made in france<\/span><\/p>\n

LVL,like plywood, is manufactured by assembling veneers from rotary cut logs. Based on decades of expertise in this technology, the THEBAULT Group has decided to invest in the very first LVL manufacturing unit in France and Western Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A local wood species<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The new LVL production site is part of the THEBAULT Group’s strategy to further diversify its product range, in synergy with the wood species that are already being further processed, while also securing its wood supply for the coming decades. Silver fir, an endemic and historically significant wood species from the Massif-Central region in France, has been selected for its excellent mechanical properties and for the production of LVL products.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the medium term, these products will carry the PEFC and Bois de France sustainable management labels and conform to worldwide certifications, all of which are very highly appreciated in the construction sectors where large size LVL beams and panels are produced for.TEBOLVL meets all the requirements of standard EN14374.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This TEBOLVL production facility will be located at the heart of the wood resource region where the manufacturing process of a wood specie  will take place : Silver Fir (Abies alba) from the Auvergne forest also known as “white fir”, a local resource, with substantial available volumes in large-diameter  and, to date, with no comparable industrial valorization in this forest  area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mechanically efficient, TEBOLVL offers an excellent return on wood raw material and has a long-lasting carbon storage capacity. TEBOLVL is the only LVL product manufactured in France, thereby considerably reducing the impact of transport in the supply of engineered wood products. It therefore plays a key role in tackling global climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LVL is the engineering product by excellence, and can be used in a wide variety of construction applications, where its lightweight in relation to the load-bearing capacity of the beams makes it particularly suitable for use in highly demanding structural applications.<\/p>\n
